Well my friend, you scored! Planning your girls trip to Vegas can stop here because this is the only guide you will ever need! This guide is filled with endless fun activities that are both classic “Vegas” style + extremely unique!
Vegas is the ultimate girls trip destination! It has all the things us girls desire: Cute boys, plenty of photo opportunities, delicious cocktails, adorable bars, and tons of options for bottomless mimosa brunch! Need I say more?!
In this LOCAL’S guide (yes, I am a true local.. born AND raised) I will share with you all of the fun things I’ve done with my friends over the years plus some things I have been super jealous of when my friends did without me, ha! I know you’ve been there too girl!

Drag Brunch
Is this not the most “Vegas” thing you’ve ever heard of?! There are a few spots along the famous Las Vegas Strip that offer brunch with drag queens! Not only do you get bottomless mimosas and a yummy brunch, but a show to enjoy while getting drunk with all your besties.
The best drag brunch spot is located at Senor Frogs at the Treasure Island Casino and they have 2 shows per day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets start at $60.00 which includes your food, mimosas and a show! For a $20 upgrade, you can opt in for the VIP experience with open bar and a photo opp with the drag queens themselves!

Vanderpump Cocktail Garden
If you like trash reality TV like 99% of the female population, you have to put the Vanderpump cocktail garden the top of your list! This cocktail oasis is located inside of Caesars palace where you can sip on craft cocktails and delicious small bites. I went to this right when it opened, so the line was outrageously long! I am sure it is not AS long, but I would still plan to wait a little while to get inside.
The Vanderpump Cocktail garden can be expensive, but I truly think it is worth the price tag! Not only are you paying for a damn good cocktail (which is hard to come by these days), but the great service and adorable atmosphere! The cocktail garden is open M-W 3pm – Midnight, Thursdays & Sundays from 12pm – Midnight, and Sat / Sun from 12pm-3am.

The breakfast can be completely customized with options for birthday cake, pastries, mimosas, coffee, etc! Just DM Bali Basics for a quote on your breakfast!

Watch a Male Dance Show
I am sure you have seen the movie Magic Mike… Well, get ready for the real life version of it! In Las Vegas, we have 3 popular male dance shows: Magic Mike, Chippendales, and Thunder from Down Under. If you are celebrating a birthday or bachelorette party, this is a MUST! Plus, most of these shows will bring you onto the stage if it is a special occasion, making it all the more fun!
Tickets start at around $50.00 and shows are normally offered every single night. Click here to view ticket options for all male dance shows in Vegas!

Mimosa Brunch at Mimosa Gourmet
DID SOMEONE SAY GIANT MIMOSAS?! Yes, you heard that right. If you want to drink your weight in mimosas, look no more! Mimosa Gourmet is located off the Las Vegas strip in a more local area of town. You can order regular mimosas, or you can order giant mimosas to enjoy with your friends!
A girls trip to Las Vegas is never complete until you do mimosa brunch, so be sure to make a reservation in advance because this place is usually busy.
The giant size is under $40 and comes in endless flavors – click here to check their menu out!
Wine Tasting in Pahrump
Did you know that you can go wine tasting near Las Vegas?! Most people, even locals, don’t know about this hidden gem! Just an hour outside of the city in a tiny town called Pahrump, you can do free wine tasting at some vineyards. If you plan on taking a day trip to Death Valley National Park while in Vegas, you pass through Pahrump anyways! Because, it’s always good time for a wine break, am I right ladies?!
The two wineries in Pahrump are Pahrump Valley Winery and Sanders Family Winery. These two are local, family owned and will offer free tastings + tours of their winery!
Like free stuff?! This was recommended on my 40 FREE things to do in Las Vegas guide!
Instagram Photo Tour
A girls trip to Vegas isn’t complete without tons of cute photos of you and your friends! Lucky for you, Las Vegas is bursting with endless photo-opps that you can share on Instagram for years to come! I’ll go over my top 3 photo-opp spots here, but be sure to check out my guide on Top Instagram Locations in Las Vegas where I go over the exact locations, photography tips, and pictures of each spot! Don’t forget to snag my photo filters to take all your Vegas pictures to the next level!
Obviously the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign is the top photography location in Las Vegas! Located at the start of the strip on Las Vegas Blvd and Sunset, you can snap your photo in front of this sign with the Las Vegas strip in the backdrop. I would recommend going here EARLY to avoid the long lines.
If you want to feel like a real-life princess, you need to snap a photo in front of the Excalibur hotel! This picturesque casino is shaped as a castle and has a large moat around the front of the building. Just head to the front of the hotel by the valet for the best photo spot!
This photo was taken at the NYNY’s Brooklyn Bridge replica located on Las Vegas Blvd! Right in front of the hotel, closest to The Park Hotel, you will find this adorable spot! Since it is located on the main BLVD, it will be busy so be sure to get here early in the morning!
Half Happy Hour at the High Roller
The High Roller is the massive ferris wheel you see on the Las Vegas Strip. Located at the LINQ hotel & casino, you can do “half” happy hour during the 30 minute ferris wheel ride. And no, this is not your typical ferris wheel.. it is a massive pod that fits over 40 people! If you upgrade your ride to the happy hour option, you will get open bar for the duration of the ride.
If this is your first time to Las Vegas, this is a great way to take in all of the beautiful views of the city! Plus, the area around the High Roller is extremely picturesque with cobblestone streets, string lights and plenty of bars!
Tickets start at $30 for the daytime ride and $45 for the night time ride, click here to check the pricing out!
LOCAL TIP: These tickets are a lot of the time offered on Groupon where you can save a few bucks per ticket!
Like how I edited this photo? It was edited in ONE CLICK using my Lightroom presets!
Cosmos at the Cosmo’s Chandelier Bar
The best bar in all of Las Vegas! The chandelier bar at the Cosmopolitan hotel is a three level, lit up bar that is encased in a real life chandelier! You can’t miss the opportunity to sip cosmos at the Cosmo with your favorite ladies!
The Chandelier bar is first come-first serve seating and fills up FAST. I would recommend going right when the bar opens, which is Sunday-Thursday 4pm-Midnight and Saturday & Sunday from Noon-4am.
All Girls Table at a night club for FREE
Are you traveling planning an ALL girls trip to Vegas and want to get into the nightclub for FREE?! Since I am a local and have all the secrets for you, I have TWO ways for a group of ladies to get into the nightclubs completely free. Please keep in mind that this is assuming you are not traveling on a holiday or special event weekend.
Way #1: One of my best friends works at the night clubs and generously offered to all my female readers free access to the club! If she has availability, she will even put you on a table with free drinks! All you have to do is slide into her DM’s on Instagram and tell her My Perfect Itinerary sent you! 🙂 Her Instagram handle is @allisonagnew!
Way #2: If she does not have any availability, you can always try different clubs. If you walk around the strip and inside the casinos, you will almost always have a nicely dressed man walk up to you and offer you free entry into the nightclub he works at. So no, he is not some creep trying to get your phone number, it is a real offer!
Shopping!
Most people wrongly assume that shopping in Las Vegas is only for the rich! Which, don’t get me wrong.. we have plenty of shopping malls on the Las Vegas strip that have fancy stores like Fendi and Prada, but we also have plenty of shopping malls with affordable and cute stores.
My all-time favorite store on the Strip is the Fashion Show Mall. Here, you will find a mix of luxury stores, cute boutiques and affordable brands like Forever 21! Don’t forget to walk out to Las Vegas Blvd near the restaurant called Magiano’s to snap a picture at the Rainbow staircase!
If you want to be bougie AF and shop at fancy stores paired with luxurious malls, head to the following malls:
Rent a pontoon boat
Planning your Vegas girls trip for the summer months?! Spend a day renting a pontoon boat at Lake Mead or Sand Hollow! Having a lake day is always fun with a group and surprisingly affordable! Lake Mead is the lake right outside of Las Vegas, only a 45 minute drive, while Sand Hollow is located just outside of St. George, Utah, a 2.5 hour drive.
Sand Hollow is significantly prettier with clear water, soft sand beach and vibrant red rock formations, but you can’t beat the convenience of Lake Mead! Make sure you pack a cooler with alcohol, folding table for some drinking games, and of course some adorable pool floats (like this Rose all Day or Pineapple float)!
Spa Day
Spending a day at the spa in Las Vegas is not your typical spa day! What makes these so special is the crazy amount of amenities the Las Vegas spas offer! Not only are you paying for a massage or a facial, but entry to the hotel pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and snow room! Yes, you heard that right… SNOW ROOM.
At the spa at Caesars palace you will get access to all the amenities a typical spa offers plus a very unique snow room! The idea is to go from hot to cold as they do in northern Europe, and it is supposed to be extremely relaxing!
Neon Museum
The Neon Museum is a collection of old neon signs used throughout Las Vegas! Some of them are as old as Las Vegas itself! For only $20.00, you will receive entry to the “Neon Sign Boneyard” to freely explore the signs.
Truth be told, I still haven’t made it out to this spot yet! A lot of my friends and readers have gone and have absolutely loved it though! I just keep waiting for the weather to cool down and by the time it FINALLY does, I forget to go and it’s already hot again LOL. Click here to buy your tickets!
Go Ziplining with views of the strip
There are a few spots in Las Vegas to go ziplining, but I think the VooDoo Zipline is the most fun for groups! At the Rio Hotel & Casino, you can zip line between their two hotel buildings. The unique thing about this zip line is that you are in a chair instead of a harness and you do the zip line in a group of two, so you get to enjoy the ride with someone!
Other zip lines in Las Vegas are the Slotzilla over Freemont Street and FLY at the LINQ!
Bar Hopping Downtown Las Vegas
Did somebody say GNO?! Downtown Las Vegas is not only a touristy + fun spot for travelers, but a fun place for locals too! If my friends and I are ever celebrating a Birthday or celebration in Las Vegas, we are 99% of the time going downtown! The bars in Downtown are trendy, affordable, and extremely close together, making it a really fun night for bar hopping.
If you want a detailed guide on where the best bars are, pictures of each bar, and local tips, be sure to check out my guide on Best Bars in Downtown Las Vegas!
Hiking in Valley of Fire State Park
Want to mix up the drinking activities with Nevada’s beautiful nature? Valley of Fire state park is by far the best place near Las Vegas to take in all those desert views. Only 1 hour outside of the city you will start to see the vibrant red rock formations with endless hiking trails. For a full guide on how much the park costs, what hikes to do and good photography locations, click here!
If you don’t want to worry about driving & renting a car, there are some tours that will take you to see all the highlights – click here to check them out!
TIP: To replicate this shot, head to Mouse’s Tank Road, between Mouse’s Tank Trail and Rainbow Vista, looking back towards the visitor center! To safely stand in the middle of the road you will need to head out to the park EARLY!

Go to a Wine & Painting Class
Pinot’s Palette has a few locations in Las Vegas where you go attend a painting class while drinking wine with your friends! I SUCK at painting or anything art related, but these are so much fun! There is an instructor who takes you through the painting step-by-step and gives you tons of breaks to socialize and get a wine refill!
This is a fun gift I give my mom every year for her birthday and it never gets old!
Okay, that’s a wrap! I hope this guide is super helpful for you when planning your girls trip to Vegas! 🙂 There are obviously endless things to do in this touristy city, but I feel like these are the ones that are the most fun, memorable, and worth the money!

Hello Monique! Thank you so much for posting this guide. Although I have been to Vegas many times in my life since I was little, this is the first time I am planning a trip with my girls, and we are so excited to try some of your suggestions. I do have a question though, that I hope you can help with. We are going to dinner at Oscar’s one night and are going to dress up as classic mobster eras, but we would like to get our hair done somewhere. Do you have a salon recommendation with reasonable prices? It can be a little off the beaten path if need be, we just thought it would be a special treat for ourselves.
And if you have any more fun tips for us Arizona girls, we would welcome any advice. Thank you so much!
Hmmm, I don’t get my hair styled too often but I know places like Look Style Society have many stylists that could get a large group in! They have a location at Town Square, which isn’t too far from the strip. There is also The Drybar which is on the strip that is supposed to be really cute!
Hope you have fun!! 🙂

Hi there! I’m super excited as my girlfriends and I are heading to Vegas in March 2023. How is the weather during that time? And what hotel do you recommend?
It’s usually very beautiful during this time of year! Might still be a little too cold for day clubs, but great for sight seeing! Honestly.. there are so many amazing hotels on the strip. I love the Venetian, Encore / Wynn properties, Bellagio or Aria are all incredible! Have fun!
